What a weird show today. I didn’t feel relaxed until there were only 15 minutes left.
Feature set on The Weakerthans was kinda short … and I’m a bit disappointed in the new album. Lyrical content is great, as always, on a first listen, but I feel like a lot of the songs retread their other mid-tempo work from Reconstruction Site. Some great harmonies still surprise from time to time, though.
